Instagrammable Pizza in Bangkok

Retro slice shops that look as loud as they taste

Hunting for an instagrammable pizza shop in Bangkok? KICK! CHOP! SLICE! was built like a set from an 80s Hong Kong action flick: red neon, halftone posters, kung fu energy and big New York slices under the counter lamp.

What the shops look like

The Charoen Krung shop glows red onto the street after dark, covered in stickers and posters, with a counter made for one-slice portraits. The Songwat shop sits in a Sino Thai shophouse in the old town: green gates outside, pink neon PIZZA sign inside. Retro American diner energy meets Bangkok old town, and every corner is a photo spot. Cool, cute, trendy, photogenic: pick your adjective, the shops earn it.

Aesthetic, but the pizza is the point

Trendy pizza places come and go; the slice has to survive the photo. Ours is the real New York format: 18 inch hand-tossed pies, big foldable slices from 79 THB. Shoot the cheese pull, then eat it while it is hot.

The 80s and 90s movie obsession behind the look is on our Our Story page.

Come shoot, stay for a slice

Both shops run Wednesday to Monday. Golden hour hits the Charoen Krung storefront just before the evening rush, and the neon looks best after dark.

Rather have the slice come to you? Pizza delivery in Bangkok works too, though the neon stays here.
